Events for Baby Loss Awareness Week

Baby Loss Awareness Week is the 9th to the 15th of October every year.

The International Wave of Light invites baby loss families, friends, loved ones and supporting organisations from around the world to join in honour and remembrance of all loved and longed for babies gone too soon. No matter where you are in the world, you can light a candle at 7pm in memory of your baby or babies to be part of the wave of light that begins here in Aotearoa and wraps around the globe.

Check out the Sands NZ Facebook page for the livestream link.

  • Our next Butterfly Fun Run will take place on Sunday 13th October 2024

  • The Groynes, Johns Road, Christchurch (virtual tickets also available)

  • This event will help keep vital MMNZ (Miscarriage Matters NZ) services running in our community.

  • Tickets will be available via eventfinda closer to the time
