Start Making Care Packages in Your Region

We currently have Miscarriage Matters Chapters in Canterbury, Auckland (North Shore), Timaru, and Top of the South (Marlborough/Nelson). This means that people just like you have volunteered to start a Chapter in their region, to make and distribute care packages at their local hospital, midwifery practice,  or health centre. If you are in one of these regions and would like to volunteer, let us know via email and we will put you in touch with your local Chapter.

If you would like to start your own Chapter you just need to sign up as an accredited MMNZ member. Then we can help with setting you up. We can supply you with the basic items to include in care packages - bag (with sticker to seal), swan plant seeds, keepsake keyring, and printed cards for you to write personal messages in. We can also give you help sourcing product donations for the extra care package items, applying for grants (if needed), and establishing a relationship with your chosen distribution places.
